Take 1/3 : the classic dragon warrior
Spirited, boyish, the boy was already trained in the art of Kung-fu before being designated as the Dragon Warrior.
But now that he has joined the Temple, he’s surrounded by peers who are far better than him.
He wishes Master Oogway would give him a clear way to becoming the Dragon Warrior.

Take 2/3 : the Aladdin dragon warrior
The boy is lazy, arrogant, full of himself. He lives in a small cabin with his best friend Kuzo who is… an animal, a horse or a little monkey. It is also his sole friend.
The boy works small jobs, and quits any time it gets annoying. Whenever he gets into trouble, he tries to charm his way out of them, or simply runs away.
So when Master Oogway comes to see him and tells him he is the Dragon Warrior, he simply dismisses it. Him? Out of all people.
But sometimes he wonders. What if he wasn’t so lazy, and arrogant, and full-himself? Maybe he could become someone.
Would they let him take Kuzo to the Temple ?

Take 3/3 : the kind-hearted dragon warrior
The boy has just been beaten down in a Kung-fu fight against another student, and ran away to the Temple’s creek, where Master Oogway comes to talk to him.
The boy had had no Kung-fu training before being designated as the Dragon Warrior, so why him?
Now he’s at the Temple, thousand miles away from all family and friends, training against stronger students.
The mission he was assigned to accomplish feels way too vast, and he feels so inadequate for it.
There’s a child-like purity in his heart.
