Entourage but it's written in 2026 & I'm the lead actor.

In the office of the agent Ari Gold, somewhere in LA.
Ari summoned André Kingsman, one of the actors he represents, to have a belly-to-belly conversation.

...

Ari: Not being on social media, you may think it’s very noble, very highly, but it doesn’t work. If we were in the fucking middle-ages, then your strategy of taking it one step at a time, it could work, but I’m not seeing anyone wearing an armor or carrying a sword around. Correct? So I want you to start posting.

André: I’m laying foundations here, for lasting success. So many actors, they’re in one big movie, and then they disappear. Even the successful ones, so many of them start drinking, or doing drugs. I don’t want to end up like one of them.

Ari: Worry about success getting to your head once you’re successful. For now, I want to you worry about bagging enough cash, so you can buy enough food and not look like a skinny cat.

André: Come on.

Ari: I’m sorry but I’m just telling you the truth here. You look like a struggling actor to me.

André: I’m not struggling.

Ari: Your hair says you’re struggling.

André: Yeah I should use coconut oil more often.

Ari: No.

André: Castor oil?

Ari: Next audition you fail, I’ll set you up an appointment with Mr. Borgmater. He made three of my father’s toupets. Clean work. You won’t even have to buy any oil.

André: Do you think he could give me a discount if I also bought one for you?

Ari: You’re the one that’s supposed to be in front of a camera… So listen to me. That little thing (holds a phone next to andré’s face) could be your way to wonderland. Once your face is out there, you could have opportunities coming from anywhere in the world, straight into your dms. That also means that you could fuck your middle-man, and who is your middle-man?

André: You.

Ari: Correct. I want you to fuck me. Do you understand that? Fuuu-uuuu-uck me. (mimicks being fucked)

André: I’m feeling embarrassed for you right now.

Ari: I have done worst things in my life than mimicking being fucked by one of the actors I represent. So don’t be embarrassed for me. I want you to be embarrassed for yourself. Now are you gonna start posting?

André: It’s just that posting, it’d be like feeding the beast. Social media, it gets to everybody’s head. It’s not very healthy, society wise.

Ari: I wish you had told me, on the first day we met, that you didn’t have the two balls I assumed you had between your legs, and that you were some sort of Evangelist who wanted to change the world, because then I would have gladly attended your free bible-course, but I certainly wouldn’t have taken you in my pool of actors… Now, you can think whatever you want about social media, but you can also realize that everybody who’s got five minutes of free time on their hand put their phone out and start scrolling, and that includes everybody in that industry, from young filmmakers to world-class directors. Whether you want it or not, this is now part of the equation. So you can keep doing what you’ve been doing, with your head buried in the sand, where it’s dark and where nobody can see your face, or you can get on social media, start posting, and ride the freaking wave? Now what do you choose? Your head in the sand or riding the wave? To me it’s a pretty choice.

André: Okay… I’ll start posting.

Ari: Amen! Now I want you to post so much, that I’m fed up with seeing your face? Can you do that for me?

André: I can try, but I don’t have a million ideas about what I could do.

Ari: Go out there, have so fun. You’ll find ideas. You don’t even need to be in LA for this. You could be in Nebraska for all I care. As long as you’d post, you’d be doing your job… Now I’ll need you to leave, because I have a meeting with an actor that actually brings me money.

André: Okay, just buy me the ticket.

Ari: To where?

André: Nebraska.

Ari: To do what?

André: Content. I’ll make content from there. It’s a partnership, remember?

Ari: Okay. I’ll buy you the ticket. But you better have a hundred thousand followers by the end of December.

André: I can do that.

They shake hands.

Ari (to his phone): Hey Siri, send a message to Samantha. I need her to book a ticket to Nebraska for my actor André. He’s going to become a social media star. At least he better be, otherwise I’m getting him off my pool of actors.
